Jim Dunaway is the new lead sports anchor at CBS 42 in Birmingham. Our sources tell us that it is likely that Dunaway will be host of the Nick Saban Show (produced by Crimson Tide Sports Marketing). Dunaway previously hosted the Mike Shula show on NBC 13 while he was the lead anchor there. Dunaway will continue his radio duties as part of the Dunaway and Brown radio show:
In a unique move, CBS 42 and Citadel Broadcastings’ 690 AM, WSPZ, are forming a partnership with Jim Dunaway at the center. Monday through Friday at 5pm, Dunaway will deliver the sportscast for CBS 42 News at 5, but will do so live from their radio studio. Dunaway will then host the 10pm sportscast from the CBS 42 Studios.
It'll be good to see Jim back on the show.
