Real life has stepped on the BlogPoll for the last couple of weeks; I'm very sorry. I've done my duty this week and voted! Shocking I know...
Ballot after the jump.
Well, I like the Tide. I mean as a football team, not as a partisan. I've not seen as much Texas as I'd like, but they run worse than the Tide throws, and their defense is not in the same neighborhood.
Fundamentally, I'm saying Alabama is the most complete team in the country. If it weren't for kick returns and a mild discomfort I get about the secondary from time to time, this would be a nearly perfectly rounded team.
Florida's offense has looked pedestrian at times. Texas (as noted) can't run all that well. TCU and Cincinnati - guys, I know it's tough, but you have to play somebody to be in the conversation. Sorry.
So, I think the best two teams in the country play in Atlanta next week. Should be fun...

I don't think this game will be as lop-sided as last years' romp of Auburn (aka The Cow College), but the 10 point spread seems a bit light; even at Jordan-Hare. On Friday Ingram will break an Alabama rushing record, and put himself that much closer to securing a spot as Bama's first Heisman Trophy winner. I look for McElroy to have a good game; smart decisions regardless of the intensity of 'The Jungle' (laughable, I know).
Roll Tide
... I too hate Orange.
