I don't care what anyone tells you, that was a pretty win. Why? Because any time I leave Jordan-Hare Stadium with Alabama having won, it was absolutely beautiful.

There are some really positive things to take from this win, as well:

Auburn may not have the best offense that Alabama has faced this year, but it may be the one best tailored to face a Nick Saban-coached defense, which typically relies on a lot of defensive audibles and formation-shifting.

As expected, the Alabama football team did treat Wednesday like a Thursday. As such, today's practice was closed. Coach Saban did indicate that the Tide had no significant injuries, which is good news.

Otherwise, the only real news is that I hate orange.

It's Tuesday, but don't tell that to members of the Alabama football team. For them it was a Wednesday, as the Tide steamrolls towards Friday's matchup against Auburn.

Again, not a lot of comment here on the Mark Ingram Sports Report today, but the University of Alabama has finally begun a campaign for Mark Ingram for Heisman.
